    Digital Pillars

    Machines, robots, gadgets and AI
    Technological wonders soar the sky
Steel and round-rubber chariots propellers of commute
Glass and concrete towers rising mightily brute.

New horizons ahead, the full spectrum prisms
A heart beats quietly, soul in it's own prison

Fate uncertain in a time of digital hypnosis
Masses of cranial intellects their fears ever grow
Comfort in an virtual reality they must bestow.

Skies, sea, land soon become an abstract
Of history's greatest allies, victories and pacts
A ghost in the machine was the fear upon us
That ghost in the machine was the fear within us.

This poem is a recent of mine with meanings of human-kinds hesitation and perils of an automated future.

Oh wow, this is great. The last stanza is definitely my favorite, but the rest of the poem set up for it perfectly. Hope to see more from you :)
