  1. Just in the "For what it's worth" area, I got a new phone that displays differently than my old one. When I hold it normally in the up and down position, I can't see Alerts or Messages:

But if I hold it sideways, everything shows. Also the signature area shows:

So if somebody days they don't see anything that says Messages, tell them to try turning their phone.

I'm using Opera Mini browser on Android. Same as on the old phone, but it shows differently.

    Merry Christmas

As in other thread (update here for convenience of members) seems the accessibility options and screen size settings are cause. If have accessibility/larger type then things do not fit.

  3. For me it was:
    Settings
    Accessibility
    Display size
    (Select) Small

Works for me for 6 lines of typing then back to working in the blind.

    Gotta love technology!

  4. I did another change to the keyboard and made it shorter.

    Settings
    Languages and input
    Virtual keyboard
    Gboard
    Preferences
    Keyboard height
    Short

Now I can see 7 lines of text and can actually scroll the text box up to see what I'm doing now. That last didn't work before.

Hope all this helps somebody. @JmpMstr thanks for pointing me down that track.
