I have had a few stitches years back and they can sting a hell of a lot, they normally numb the area first so when that wears of it can seem worse than when you first had it. hope your thumb heals soon, depends on the nerves as well.

of course the area hurts.... maybe try not to use the thumb or put some bandage around it to protect it, might help...

stitches can hurt and you may find it itches as you heal.

No hun do not take them out ok they will dissolve on their own if you take them out you will introduce bacteria inside wound and will hurt more

Depends where u got them done and how bad it is. I got some just above my eye which i thought would hurt really bad but it was ok. I was screaming in agony when they put it in and when i got them taken out it hurt a bit because 2 were swollen too much to take out so i had to wait another week for the area to calm. If its bad get it checked out to make sure :)

maybe you can find a clinic that can take them out for you when the time is right

wish i had had that option but after my procedure i was a bit surprised to see staples and i wasn't about to remove those on my own
