Self doubt sets in as I’m sitting here drinking
My head is racing and I can’t stop thinking
Why am I here and why do I care
Feels like I’m in a dream, I swear

The voices keep telling me to do it
I know one day I’d have to admit
I really don’t want to be here
    Because I’m living in fear

The temptation is hitting me harder everyday
There’s not a chance of me getting away
The urges are too strong and never ending
My poor, frail body, needs mending

I’m afraid to look you in the eye
Because it’s getting easier to say goodbye
I know there will be pain in your heart
But it will be a fresh start

There will be no more crying and hurt
Cause you will be burying me under 6 feet of dirt
I don’t expect you to forgive me @ all
It’s just my time to fall

  2. Um... wow. You've captured my feelings, though I'm sorry they're yours as well
