  1. Trapped
    for so long,
    like a dragonfly in amber
I can see all around me
    but cannot move
    am immobile, crippled
    helpless, futile,
    surrounded by this clear terror
    from which I cannot escape
    Tainted forever
    by my infinite powerlessness
    to do what needs to be done;
    too great is the sum
for all I must attend to
    while paralyzed with fear
There is no room for even tears
    Shatter me
    Break me open
    And I don’t think I’ll bleed
I have no energy for what is needed
    This world makes me weary
    and I am only leery
of the next thing to come,
    leading to further
    becoming undone

Fal1, typically I would type up somthing atleast 1+ paragraph expressing my gratitude for such an amazing display of talent and self-expression. Realisticly, I dont think all that is needed. I simply want you to know that reading this poem litterally caused my eyes to water, its beautiful. Please keep writing, I look forward to many more breath-taking poems from you in the future! Btw, lol... it looks as if I did end up typing up a paragraph afterall. -sighs
  3. Thank you for your most thoughtful comments Eccentric. They mean the world to me. I share my words to heal myself (if that is at all possible), but I'm always grateful when they touch someone else...

Your poetry always touches me - sometimes a little tickle, sometimes a great knock on the head, but I'm always touched in some way by everything you write. You're a flippin' genius, you are, and I love every single thing you write. I wish I had even one tenth of your ability...

    love and hugs,
