Hands aged by weight of fears, open the door to the terrible future.
Brittle legs, stagger from mistreatment. Shock arrival.
    Fear and Loathing
Not in Las Vegas, No such fantasy.
Not even in the American accent gained through too many movies.
Fantasies dreamed in retrospective guilt of chances dropped

Fear and loathing in Reading, self-imposed imprisonment. Shame.
    Cell Block K.
And now my terrible future stands at my door,
    Full of Rage and Hurt.

My tormentor-in-chief, pressed in the grey suit of academica - sees no reflection in me.
    Shame, Disappointment.
    My hate figure
    My scapegoat.
    Comes to prise me away...

    My terrible future

    My Saviour
