    “Dying...In Agonizing Slow Motion”

    Thoughts, scattered to random corners
Virility trapped in a mass-grave of ill-starred moments
I feel like I am dying..in agonizing slow motion

Body and Spirit equally morose and downtrodden
I look down at that charred corpse of myself, a symbol of broken fealty
Fealty to humanity and what is beyond me

I’m afraid to close my eyes
Fearing the backhand of sullen, fallen angels
But they still speak to me, a screaming chorus
    A final, drawn-out warning

With jaw clenched, I command them to scatter
To abandon me, but their whispers remain
    They tell me:

“Torment, a writhing gathering of worms
    Just below the surface
    Of this charred corpse
    Is forever yours
A gift from these lost angels"

This is extremely powerful.:eek:hmy: I hope this is only a fleeting feeling, and not a permanent way of living.
