Dying...

I feel as though my life is ending.......I feel like I'm dying. I feel like I'm really really old and I'm in the final stage of my life......the last year or few months......does anyone else ever feel like this? :sad:

Yes all the time. My mom told me she feels like she's 20; she's 48 (or something around there :laugh. I told her I feel like I'm 80. I'm 19.

I just feel I'm ready. Like I've done enough already. Even though I'm 19.

There are time I feel much older than I am. I think it comes from the constant struggles over the years.

I used to feel like that at my worst.

It is a horrible feeling.

I somehow used to get myself to breathing space again, and breathe a little and then i'd sink again.

You might feel like that but it could be that suffocating sense of doom surrounding you that sense of doom about time going by..

I sat by the lake today and just stared at the water, the way it sparkled but was so dark....there were all these kids playing near me and that made me feel worse......I'm so completely and utterly alone :sad:

I feel weird and disconnected, I feel like I'm about to die soon.

Oh god I know how you feel :sad:.
The worst part about feeling like this was waking up weeks later and realizing that I'm not dead. I thought I was dying, and while it scared me, realizing I was alive was worse.


Is there something else that you can attribute to you feeling this way? Did it seem to come out of the blue or has something been going on lately? Something been going on for a long time?

:hug: that can be a part of anxiety and fear..that sense of disconnection. Did you try touching the water? Perhaps next time that would help somewhat? I do find touching things around me gets me more grounded and feeling less unreal/alone.
