Thanks @Battlecry - I don't have a union rep but I'm allowed to bring a support person along and I'm hoping to bring an employee advocate from another organisation - that will force them to play it out under legal guidelines. I've already postponed the meeting twice to study up on the legalities of their process and what my legal rights are. The more information I have beforehand the better.
The doc asked me about itching / sweating / dizziness etc. I've had none of that which is good, just insomnia and nausea - does your doc thinks it's just a temporary thing while you get used to the venlafaxine? There must be something they can give you like a topical cortisone to relieve the itching? From what I've read it does take some time to become effective compared to other meds. Four to six weeks is supposedly not unusual - good luck and thanks for the kind words.
