This is more of a question post:
Has anyone here had seizures in the past that they got over? I'm a healthy 19 year old man, and seizure symptoms developed when I was 17. I've got a vision issue (squint), and I can't even write, only type. I tend to have seizures after drinking (majorly cut back, once a month at most), but can have them for any reason. It starts as a 'normal' dissociative episode, and progresses into my hands shaking, then moving in a large fashion. My most recent seizure was 34 of a year ago, but thats more due to me being super careful about straight lines, such as chess, excel or calligraphy?
The doctors have done an EEG and an MRI, but found nothing abnormal. They wanted me to come back, sleep deprived and try to give myself a seizure, which I dipped from pretty quick. Medication they gave me made me turn into a robot, have dissociative episodes and increased my BPD symptoms.
For anyone who developed seizures later on in life, did they go away? I've started getting better sleep (9 hours a night), but I'm at my wits end. COVID means I cannot go back for now.
What can I do with this?
