Was a positively tropical 10C today with the sun making an appearance, made the most doing a very leisurely 10k down to the local country park and lake and back. Ribs are being funny - niggling all day yesterday, despite painkillers, today barely noticeable. Am sure it's some kind of subluxation/slipping rib thing due to previous injuries as it can be so intermittent. My knee is the same due to an old injury, if it goes at the wrong angle the cartilage slips and it's very painful and can't walk, but as soon as it pops back it's good as new. Running actually makes me knee feel better (running = no pain and no knee clicking - lying on sofa for days = onset of pain and clicking) - so I'll apply the same principle to ribs and keep moving within reason!

Did another 1/2 mile swim yesterday and today doing water aerobics class (actually more of a workout than one would think)...but then we're in for 4+ days of cold rains :( ... may have to be adventuresome and try exercise equipment (?)

Also contemplating getting bike checked over so instead of driving to pool-- bike instead not far by any means just have to get motivated and get in routine to do it--- pathetic part is reason haven't is how will I carry my water dumbbells --- now no snarky comments...lol...as know this is rather pathetic...lol

Not pathetic at all, it's a logistical issue....bicycles can be used for carrying cargo, there are lots of examples around the world. A platform can be fitted above or on both sides of the rear wheel........a trailer is another option.

Thanks....know you are right...I actually used to do my family's grocery shopping with my bike as had double baskets on back tire...so my excuses are waning clearly...

Did my first city run of the year - my office has showers on every floor so if I have a gap in meetings I can go out for a run, get back, clean up and get on with work, especially nice in the spring and warmer days (and when it's light until 10pm!). Felt grey but spring like with a bit of sun. Just 3.5 miles then shower then back to the grindstone!!
