    Sitting here in somlemn peace
Fakeing that I share my silence
Makeing sure I live the piece
    That earns this strange existance.

Do the things that I should do
Smile when I'm supposed to smile
Say the things I know that you
Would like to hear so you can feel
That all your efforts were worthwhile.

Its always when the dark seeps in
    The memories return
I lay awake as soft you sleep
I lay and let the coldness creep
While the craveing starts to burn.

Things are going fine as planned
Nothings wrong with you and me
I play along, I hold your hand
Its just that I am not the one
    You think you might percieve.

I couldn't say when it might end
I cant predict the one who'll win
I dont know if I'll ever lend
    Myself as openly ever again.

So I go along as I should
Plodding along as strong as I can
I pray for a day when I know I could
Fade for a while away from this man.
