Once upon a time, I thought everything just might work out. Everything would be ok. I put down the blade and hid it from the world, and buried my secrets with it.
Today, is a different day. Today is what matters. I opened Pandora's box and let the secrets roam free. Remembering that time doesn't heal every wound. Reminders that some things are better left dead.
Cutting has always reminded me that no matter how much I wish otherwise, I'm alive after all.

Four bright red bands tell my story, now I just have to figure out how to hide it.

    Three weeks "clean"+chaos= FAIL....

I think cutting is like any other compulsive behaviour. If you want to overcome it, it will take lots of will power and commitment. Please resist the urge to cut yourself.

Sometimes it takes many starts to be successful...for me to quit smoking took 5 times...please start counting the days again, and know you are so much more precious than any ill the chaos will bring
