This is my second Father's Day since my son's suicide.
Additionally, two months ago my father passed away.

Not having my boy is VERY VERY DIFFICULT... but I know my father would want me to carry on. I believe yours would also.

Celebrate his life. Keep him alive with memories. Honor him by going forward.

Second father's day for me too, much loved dad passed away.
Have made a complete fool of myself in the shops by bursting into tears at the sight of the Father's day cards
Off to light a candle tomorrow and mass will be offered up in his name, this way I honour his memory and keep him close.

i keep pictures of my dad beside the pc and next to my bed
he is all i think about am having dreams about him
i cant stop thinking about him
    i have cut already today
i know he wouldnt want me to do that but its the only way am coping
and it better than me killing myself
i have family here at the moment
and i have to hide my feelings from them as i dont want to upset them

maybe it would be better to share some of the grief with them.
they will know you are grieving and be eager to help, so let them in.
