Hey. I was just reading a post where someone posted a link to Three Days Grace - Never too late > (which is a great song) But it made me think.
What song(s) really move you? And briefly, why?

Century Creepers by The Pillows. I listened to this song while I read the book "Evasion" published by CrimethInc.

Holds some good feelings for me.

Wrap Me In Your Love by Liquid Mind holds some deep feelings, I listened to this song when I was trying to rediscover my strength, and the strength of the human spirit. You can probably find the yousendit link if you retrace my posts a little bit back, I only posted it a few days ago.

Wow, I was looking through my songs and there a lot. If I have more time I'll get back to this thread, maybe give out some links to the songs.

    At the moment:
Tonight, Tonight - Smashing Pumpkins: I just think this song has amazing lyrics and any time a rock band can use strings it just kicks ass to me.

Drain You - Nirvana: "One baby to another says i'm lucky to have met you."
I think this is tied with Heart shaped box as my all time favorite song. I just love the lyrics too it, also this is my favorite cover to play live hehe.

Gouge Away - Pixies: I <3 Pixies and I <3 this song, lol. I just find the chorus so moving but I dont really know why.

    Those are my top 3.

To Live Is To Die - Metallica

It's 99% instrumental, its riffs convey pure emotion and are very moving for me. The song was written for a lost friend of the band.

Any song off of Nirvana's "Unplugged in New York."

Three Days Grace - Gone Forever

Acutally, most of their songs are really good, and easy to relate too.

What did the singer for Nirvana do with himself?

I could name several, but I'll just say 'Behind Blue Eyes' by The Who.

The reason being, many people on this forum are suicidal due to a feeling of emptiness, as opposed to an overwhelming sense of grief or sadness. Hence the line 'but my dreams, they aren't as empty as my conscious seems to be' really makes an impression on some people, myself included.

I listened to that song, it’s not my kind of music, but I liked it. The lyrics are good, just as you said.

And $MyName, 'Escape the Fate' good band, good call.

    The Rasmus - Funeral song.

One of their slow ones, but I can relate to this song in ways, unfortunately.
