OK, so we're in month 2 of 2022, and wow. Time has flown.

What is everyone's goals for this month?

I may start creatine this month to work on muscle growth, but I will gain water weight and so I'm not sure how that will play with my Body Dysmorphia. I injured myself earlier this week, and so I'm not working out again until Monday. I'll just mull these options til then.

I have been walking a little, and have done five miles between the 1st and 2nd. Hoping to hit 60 this month.

What would everyone else like to do?

Still trying to lose weight. I keep on breaking the diet, when I'm not feeling well. I eat to improve the mood. I should probably stop doing that. I will see how I go I guess.
This isn't uncommon and losing weight is a journey. It's OK to falter sometimes, and it's good you're aware of why you fall of your diet. Just be mindful, patient and kind to yourself.

Stretching is great! I don't do it enough at all. I ended up with something I'm guessing was tennis elbow recently because I don't do my warm up and warm downs as often as a I should. It can make a world of different in how you feel. I'm glad you are doing it.

So, I've been choking on a weightlifting move in class. At home I can go a little heavier, but in class, I seem to get stuck at around 55-60lbs. Today we had to do the move again (power clean) and I changed up the light bar I normally use for a heavier one, and I got to 67 lbs. Only once, but it felt like a triumph.

We also had a lot of running in class today and I run a few days a week so I ended up being the 2nd fastest. My coach said he could tell I was a runner because of my focus.

Later, when we logged our scores into the app that tracks everyone's workout, I'm 99% positive someone in my class fudge on the number of rounds she got in, because she was always behind me in the workout, yet she finished with one more round than me? So, I have to remember that I feel self-conscious because I'm the oldest and lift the lightest, but other people must feel badly about other aspects, if they do things like that. It was a good reminder that we all have things we'd like to be better at.

I've been taking it easy this week thanks to an arm injury that I'm trying to nurse before I do a big CrossFit meet up on Saturday (just one at the gym, not like an official CF meet) so I've been walking and doing light mobility things at home.

I hit 10,000 steps today which is a number I rarely reach, so feel good about that!

I almost got myself a bike, but went with a rower, which I'm kind of just doing very slowly while I watch TV! But it's fun. Glad you're getting back into it!
I know what you mean. I like the rower and vertical climber I have to keep muscle tone and build. The bike is quite good for cardio.

My body is disgusting. I really need to lose weight. It's horrible. I am going to double down on the diet and exercise. I can't stand looking like this anymore.

If you want you can try intermittent fasting. It helped me a lot. Long term managing anxiety helped me the most with somatic therapy.
Here is the link with an interview with a doctor from a famous health clinic explaining on how it works: (I went for 12-12 hours, then 14-10)

I hope it helps.

For myself I keep doing exercise, especially yoga. My body is getting firmer, but I would like to stabilise my headstand. I need to give up biting my nails this time!
I also got my skin right, I would like to buy a Cerave soap for showering to have a nicer skin, so I need to start earning money with a little bit of help.
