I truly believe now this poem was meant for her (lemoncookie). I asked her and she was happy about this, she said I had made her day.

    Inner quest

Once there was darkness falling upon her steps,
Now she treads peacefully, staring across the sea.
    One day she'll be fine as the morning star in painted heavens;
Neither in dark nor alone, she's in wonder, and free...

It's hard to imagine the silent funereal emotions
Which echo as lamented raindrops falling upon her flickering shadow.
Her sadness forms mists of grey pain and razor-cliffed agony.
No dreamy refuge can be found from her two pale sunset windows.

Friends and troubadours, dreamers and mystics
Pass her boat making it's way through the glittering sapphires.
Non-truths and storytellers, doubtful workers and their mocking plays
Shout loudly, then fuse a memory upon an obsidian of blue fire.

A waterfall of musical imaginings in harmony,
A dream of what she wishes one could dream.
A part of her realm heals her and cares,
They are kind, and special, and sweet, and gleam.

    A candle-like tiger gallops upon Mercury's shore -
She has that strength, a Queen to battle Faust's odds and win.
Shimmering through the trees she is the sun, the moon on the waves.
Honest as the night, and deep as even stained sin.

Where does she find the ability to be a winner?
To help when she can, even when feeling blue.
To try to rise when abyssal, to melt down mirrored obstacles.
To follow but lead, for she was the one who grew.

I'll try to guide her, in my heart knowing well I don't need to,
Because I know she'll be fine, she's tough, and gentle too.
These words compare not with what she has and is inside.
She will seek, and find she's the one eagle who truly flew...

Once there was darkness falling upon her steps,
Now she treads peacefully, staring across the sea.
One day she'll be fine as the morning star in painted heavens.
Neither in dark nor alone, she's in wonder, and free.
