What is the longest story you have ever written? My friend said he had written 100,000 words and was just getting started, lol. I can't imagine writing that much. The longest story I have done was about 83,000 words and I was surprised I had finished it in only about 2 weeks. It usually takes me a few months to write something of that length. Also, what is your best or favorite work?

Well, since I usually try to write screenplays (that's TRY!), which very often average around 100 pages... About that much - or many - & this of course considers or factors in dialogue. ;)

Lol, I forgot I even made this post :p Since I wrote this, I have written 3 stories, averaging over 70,000 words. I write every night, I am on a roll

The longest story I ever wrote was over 300,000 words. It . . . needed an editor rather badly. :p I'm not sure which story I'm most proud of . . . it kind of depends on the day, but I can tell you my most popular one is this one: The Sith Who Brought Life Day

Wow, that is quite a feat! I usually peter out after 70,000 or sometimes a bit more. Interested to know what that story is about :)

It's a Star Wars fanfic novel. I basically cribbed the story from "Seven Samurai," substituting two Jedi for the samurai and a planet for the village. The story lives here: Spirit Warriors of Angharad

That is awesome, especially with the Seven Samurai tie in :) Thank you for sharing, I will read it when have some free time.

I don't write! I've plotted out a few short stories though.
I'd say I'm at about 3,000. That's what google says is 11 pages of single spaced type.
