A number of members have reported issues with the new chat system. These range from not seeing all messages, missing out on messages, or not knowing how to keep all chat messages on one page. There are a few fixes for this which will follow below. There is a grey bar at the bottom of every member's screen. It shows a a black icon with a green symbol on his right side, the chat rooms and green symbol which can be turned on or off.

If you wish to simple access chat there is a bar on the bottom right of the screen which has a blue icon and states "Chat Rooms". Once you click this option you can choose to enter the main chat room. Once you are in there you should not change pages or browse the forum as messages can be lost or split between tabs.

If you wish to browse the forum whilst in chat, this is possible too. Open the chat room as before and enter the "MainChat". Once in here you have the option to "Popout chat room" on the top blue bar. It is a square with an arrow inside it pointing North-East. From here you will be in a popped out version of chat but may still receive messages in the popped in version. To stop this you have two options: Hide the chat using the green button on the bar, which will allow you to chat in the popped out version and browse the forum simultaneously. However, you will not receive messages or pm's if you choose this option. In order to view messages in the chat room and browse the forum, with the ability to PM members, you will need to pop out the chat and then leave the chat room on the forum (popped-in chat) by selecting the second option on the bar which has an arrow pointing to an open door as a symbol. You will then be able to browse the forum, receive PM's, and talk in the popped out chat window without any issues.

To disable chat completely, hover over the green bar which will show the message "Hide Chat". Once that is done the bar will shorten and show a grey colour instead of green. You will not be able to see any messages, respond to anyone, or enter the chat room. This can easily be undone by simply clicking the same button which when you hover over it should give the following message "Show Chat".

If this did not work for you, or you have any other chat related issues please post here and somebody will try to help you as soon as possible.
