    For Ashley-Michelle, even though you will never see this.

    If I had to pick a gift, it would be you.
    If I had to give my life, I'd die for you.
    If I knew what to say, I'd sing to you.
    If I even had a choice, I'd still pick you.

    I never knew what was missing till I saw your face.
    On an ultra sound, between a light and dark space.

    Pretty little eyes, ears, and nose.
    You've got my love like only your mommy knows.
    And when you here, without fear,
    I promise to always be near.
