for you, though you breathe dust

  1. so often i've lied awake at luna's height, alone
clouded eyes and broken heart, begging you to leave
victim of the eternal horror, black leaves on your tombstone
i call to you, and i begin to bleed

    i can no longer stand
i am trapped, never to be free
i dont want to believe the lie, life so bland
i see your wicked smile, and i begin to bleed

why do you persist to haunt me, spirit of ill
dragging me down, hanging from my sleeve
must i continue to suffer, take your fill
a ghost at my side ever, and i begin to bleed

i want to weep no more
final fullfillment of a terrible deed
wall of bones and ared lonely door
slowly open it, and i begin to bleed

the pain is unbearable, i've hurt so long
failure to your sacred love, brother's blaspheme
my mind remembers the agony, because you are gone
i'm broken, and i begin to bleed

flowers for you, stones for us
in this dream of sleep, what do you see
please go away, my life you have crushed
escape your memory, and let myself bleed
