  1. this poem has no purpose
    it has no meaning
it came from a mind of foolishness and pity
    this poem has no meaning

in time i will forget those who loved me
in time i will lose that which i struggle to hold onto
    conscience

    this poem has no purpose
    it has no meaning
it came from a mind of idiocy and hurt
    this poem has no meaning

sometimes i look up on high
upon a dark sky, a rainy day, a thunderstorm
    lost

    this poem has no purpose
    it has no meaning
it came from a mind of feeble thought and pain
    this poem has no meaning

i am pained, because i cannot love everyone
melancholy is simply another pretense to hide behind
    lies

    this poem has no purpose
    it has no meaning
it came from a mind of simplicity and anguish
    this poem has no meaning....

  2. I stared at this poem for minutes unending after I read it.

It has great meaning indeed in me...

I'm so very glad you're well enough again to express yourself in another form than harming yourself. I've never had the courage to be brusque, I do it in subtle ways, hoping something will rescue me. So I write.

    So do you...

    Glad you're 'back'

You DO have purpose...! (trust that, for you've touched me)
