So I have a problem with a friend of mine. She's my best friend but I don't know if she's that right now. Ever since my depression started she would back away from me, everytime we talked her responces would be cold. Our convos would be short and boring when before they were long and we would talk about everything. I have to talk to her first or we won't talk. I told her how she seems so distant and that she never talks and about my depression but she doesn't seem to care. She never asks how I am or how I'm doing ( I don't except her to be but it would be nice once) I always ask her. My other friend says she does that to her ( and me and my other best friend are both depressed) and she says she's gotten used it and when she told her about it she just said " it's nothing to do with u guys" but I feel like it does because with all of her other friends she talks to them all the time and hangs out with them alot. Idk what to do, sometimes she makes me feel worthless. I still want to be her friend but I don't want to sit around waiting for her to text me or ask me to hang out I just look pathetic. Can someone give me advice please:(

Perhaps she is dealing with her own thoughts hun and cannot deal with your depression on top of it She is not wanting to be cruel but sheis saving herself first. Back down for awhile and see what happens ok You should be getting help for your depression from a specialist someone that knows how to help you . Your friend probably feels overwhelmed and does not know what to say
