Looking into his eyes she weaps, drained from one last kiss.
She has died a silent death within her heart.
The wind calls her name, he waves goodbye she must go.
Leaving now she walks into a dream.

Of a time that will never come to pass,
Her lover and her entwined forever.
    It will never be.

She grows weaker with every breath,
Each step is a feat of will.
She has been touched by sadness once more.

To the ghosts she talks and to the night she cries
    She is cold, so cold.
She lays still no longer shaking
    Her heart stays warm.
She feels the cold no more.
