    I'm having a rant

I can't stand it when stores and websites etc that are geared towards the "plus size woman" use skinny women in their adverts etc.

The store Evans is a plus size store .. yet they start selling clothes at a size 14. Since when has a size 14 been a plus size??
Ignoring that for now .. this is one of the items Evans sells .. I'm sorry but there is no way that manequin looks a size 14 let alone what *I* would classify as a plus size (18 and above.)

This picture comes from a site called www.fullfigureplus.com - full figure? FULL FIGURE?! She can't be more than about a size 14.

According to this news article the "average" size of UK women has rose from a size 12 to a size 14.

There's enough young girls / guys in this country with eating disorders as it is without the press and shops making people feel worse by using skinny people to advertise their clothes for bigger women.
