My meds are too low and I've been feeling suicidal for a while but my psych wouldn't put my dose up... i'm waiting for an appointment with another psych but i've got no idea how long its going to take and I feel like absolute shit, considering going to the hospital to try and get help... anyone know what happens if you do go to A&E?

Its better to go on a week day as they have mental health liaison nurses there 9-5. When I went I got triaged by a nurse, saw a doc then waited for an assessment with mental health liasson. He referred me for further services, they can also speed up referrals if needs be. At weekends or after 5 it is a bit shit as you have to wait for a duty crisis worker and you can literally be waiting till 6am for them to show up.
