    My hands can't write
    my voice sinks low
    my eyes lose their sight

    holds on tightly
    hiding the locks and keys
    how do you escape?

I am told, "all will be ok"
I only need to stay walking
I'm sorry, legs turn stone cold

begging for the sun to shine
blind to the sounds of hope
    beginning to see the end

    clouded in the darkness
    reaches for the bottle
is this enough? guess we'll see

    hours later

    the blood, so cold
    in this
    lost soul slowly freezing

one more breath, one last sigh
    just to say

You have painted a clear picture of desolation in your poem. The rhythm is nicely done throughout, especially the way it emphasizes "good bye" at the end. I hope that writing this released any self destructive feelings you were having so that you did not and do not act on them.
