    Innocent blades of grass
    Witness
    A mortals footsteps pass
    Ambivalant
    Each trodden step, it presses
    Leaveing imprints in the ground
    Each step creates the pattern
    Steps without a sound
    A stumble
    Trip
    Mistrodden step
The foreign colour starts to drip
    Invades
    The blades
    Its stains
    The fallen mortal drains
    Scars upon the grass
    No one heard the cry
Was lost in all the silence
    It blended with the sky
    A mortals lonely penance
    Pray for their repentance
    Your wasted thoughts will dry
    Encrust lost consequence
    A lonely mortal dies
    Eyes open to the heavens
    Family wonders why
    An emptiness of presence
    Anger starts to fly
    Emotional effervescence
    And guilt begins to pry
    While out in the field
    Red
    Seeps
    Stains
    Creeps
    Drains
    Scars upon the grass
    Life gone cold at last...
