What are you doing for Halloween? I'm gonna set that day aside and watch an old horror classic I've never seen, and a sci-fi flick that I haven't seen for ages.

The horror oldie is a Vincent Price tour-de-force called Witchfinder General. Being a VP fan, and an aficionado of all things ancient, European, and bloody, I'm gonna have my eyes glued to the tube.

The science fiction flick is Metropolis, in good old black and white. I saw it when I was a kid, and it blew me away. I think it will be even more magical watching it in 2008. So, yeah, Halloween will be meaningful for me.

My best friend is in no mood to pass out candy, though. That's fine with me.

That sounds like a good plan :)

Me, i'm heading out for a party at the Bier Kellar in Bristol. It's a fancy dress - my gf is going as a slutty devil, me a slutty fairy, and her best friend, vix, as a giant tarantula.
Gonna be an ace night :)
