All of the tales are told
    By souls suffering in silence

    All the stories unraveling
The pain is familiar to each one

The shame is clear in the words
    The hopelessness screams out

    The masks are ever present
    A refuge to cover scars

My self feels foreign to me
A hollow vessel to exist in

    Sleep is my rescue place
    Numbness feels so safe

The curses spring out of my mouth
To relatives, friends, lovers, mostly to ME

Thru tears, the hurt goes deep
    Never ending grief

Can you hang on one more day?
    I’ll try

I like it! You express well how many of us feel.

    Thanks for sharing.

  3. I agree with Least - an extraordinary expression of our sad unity

    Splintered grasp
    and panic’s gasp at dawn
    Hope and spirit raw
    No rest but
    facing another day of woe,
    put to the test
It is sad you know this sorrow
that exists in so many of our tomorrows
