    I was pondering how all the novels and stories I write all are sad and how they all end bad...

    She tried to write;
    The perfect romance...
    Page after page was filled,
    The words flying,
    Of off the tip of her tongue,
    She tried to be gentle,
    She tried to be kind,
    But tears streaked her face,
    Soaked the paper,
    And word for word,
    The story turned sour,
    She strove for a happy ending,
    But how could she?
    When all she knew was heartbreak...
    So she settled for poetic,
    In the way she wrote...

    Beautifully written and something I can really relate to.
