has anyone heard of spotify?

i heard about it today- and maybe i'll check it out- just want your thoughts if it is worth it

I've just Googled Spotify and it looks intriguing ^_^

not at all. though spotify you get access to a whole world of music without having the files on your computer, if that made sense?

I use Spotify sometimes but generally only for music I dont have on my PC. On spotify you get to listen to 2 or 3 songs and then you have to sit through a 30 second advert.

The adverts are amazingly annoying but then at least you get to listen to loads of music without having to buy any of it.

i've started using it now, and it's actually it's very cool.

if i hear of a new artist, i just use spotify to look them up- it's a great tool

I know, I use spotify everyday, both on my computer and my iPhone. I'm a little annoyed that there is close to no Japanese music on spotify though. But it's possible to upload local files, so I'm still satisfied!
