Gazing into that fiery, cracked abyss
It looks to be a reflection of life itself
    With souls writhing in agony
    A reminder of the living

    They call, their voices demented
And gurgling with an unknown sickness
They reach, their pleading eyes the color of jaundice

    What an infinite, heated hole
    What a putrid smell
Their screams bombard me all at once
    Then I wake
To something that is worse than any nightmare
