I was suicidal in high school and came to this forum to find some help and support when my family turned their backs on me and insisted that I "buck up" instead of taking the time to listen to me.
I'm now putting myself through college, and trying to give back on this forum by offering some insights.

Just want to say hi welcome to SF Your family does not understand depression alot of people say that saying they have not suffered depression or they would not be so ignorant. I hope you are feeling better now with meds or therapy glad to have you here..
