    i have a drs apointment for first thing tomorow
    i know i need help but im scared
    i dont know whwere to start in telling the dr
    i feel like im just going to go in there and sit there in silence
    what do i say ??

    Be honest chick, tell them how you're feeling & what's happening for you.

    Sometimes it can help to take a friend with you or write everything down before you go.

    I know how daunting it can be so I do hope it goes ok for you.

    I think Claire's idea of writing it down is great that way you don't forget something and you have a "prop" to refer back to when it gets quiet.
    Honestly I bet the doc asks you questions to get the ball rolling and will have certain information he is specifically interested in.

    Hey Izzie,

    I agree with Claire,it was what I was going to suggest too. Write it down beforehand and give it to the doctor,there won't be any awkward silences then :D

    well i wrote things down and kind of read it out to the dr
    then he asked me to fill out a form
    and things went from there i was given some stuff to read
    and ive got an apointment in two weeks to talk about different types of meds i can go on

    I am glad you are getting help. Keep us posted on how your medication is working for you I hope your therapist and you click and you are able to trust T to open up and get help by talking as well.
