I too have been fighting depression for a long time, but it was sent into overdrive last year. My mother commited suicide very unexpectedly and we found out in her letter that my grandma had died a week before that and she just left her in her house to rot. Shortly after that when my 9yr old daughter found out how her grandma died, she too overdosed and was in the icu for 4 days. After that we lost our house to foreclosure and had to find a new home for our dog, which we loved tremendously, because we couldn't take him with us. Earlier this year my husband was laid off because of an injury he sustained hunting. I lost my job in august and now we are in danger of having our vehicle reposesed. It has been a very difficult time and honestly, if it weren't for my kids, I would probably be dead. I know your experiences are different and affect you in different ways, but don't give up. Hopefully this forum will offer you some comfort by letting you know that you are not alone and we are always here, whether its for advice or just to listen.
