Hi, this is my first time posting here.

I... don't have depression, and I'm not personally suicidal. My younger brother (he's fourteen) has major depression and he's very suicidal... I dunno. There's not many people who I can really talk to this about, so yeah, hopefully this will be of some help.

He's been down in the dumps with depression for a while now. He does have therapists and doctors, but he's vehemently opposed to the ida of talking to any of them. He's going through a really tough time right now, and it's hard for us to help him reach out and get help.

is it possibly you could suggest to you brother logging on here? it takes less effort than taking to pdocs and therapists and is anonymous. just a thought.
