  1. Hope is a hole
    in my back pocket,
    where I keep losing change
    as a way to grow,
falling in all that I used to know
    and I can’t backtrack
    So much I once had
    that I now sorely lack
and there ain’t no going back
    to what once was
    I miss it
    I miss me
I wish back the time I could see
    clearly
But madness has taken its toll,
    and I’ll never feel whole;
    it makes me feel old,
    and alone,
    as cold as stone ~
Oh God, I’ll never be free ...

Very sad feelings - I pray that they're wrong - but a beautiful poem nonetheless.
