Well a scar can't get infected, so I wouldn't worry about that. But foundation may help scars. However, with fresh cuts... It is harder to say. Have any accessories you can use? Like a watch? Or wrist bands?

Long sleeves is pretty much only choice... or bandages and claim you put your hand through some glass or something? Don't know if you're in a position where you can get away with that but it'll mean you won't have to keep hiding the scars either...

Long sleeves is your only choice.. i wouldn't put make up on fresh cuts.. that sounds pretty bad..

its just one more reason to stop.. sorry.. i went through this for the longest..

Bio-oil (available in the UK) is a little pricey, but excellent for hiding new scars. I'm not sure how well it'll work on fresh cuts though. You rub it on and it fades the redness right away, and if you use it every day for a couple of weeks, new scars are permanently much less noticable.

Normal foundation won't cover scars but camouflage make up might help conceal them.

MAC has an excellent brand of this, might be worth checking out :)

depends how deep and long... sleeves bio oil and make up are ways to cover them but if someone notices... you could say your cat attacked you?
