How do I quit pretending things are always fine

I have huge trouble with pretending to everyone that i'm not struggling.. anytime I do talk about things I end up changing the topic because I start to panic (various reasons) that they are not interested / will want to avoid me further because I don't want to seem toxic. I need some advice on how to learn to admit i'm not ok

Open to any advice , thanks

Have you tried writing out what you want to tell people? I find doing that, and then redoing it and trying to take out all of the emotion, makes it much easer to talk about. Then pick someone you trust, and tell them, or if that's to hard ask them to read it and then talk about what you've written afterwards.

One key thing I think is to tell them you don't need, or want them to fix things. You just need them to know how things are going for you, and if they feel up to it support you through it.
