How to focus at work

    When you feel totally alone and you feel like you can't deal with life problems and you have to work a 12 hour day in a responsible job and make a great impression...


    Normally I can focus on work but I am exhausted.
    I have tried going to the gym, cutting, praying...literally everything...
    But I can't do this right now

    I can't take a day off this week (sometimes its a possibility but not this week

    Also - how do I feel happy again? Circumstances are terrible and I don't know how to smile...Ideas?

    The only way I know of is to compartmentalize and separate. Just an act of will to separate work and workday from the rest of the world, almost like an actor. Usually for me when have to do something the hard part is to start doing it- to not blow off starting (ie to go to work in the morning) once i have physically made it to the starting it is sustainable for the day or time period until I stop- then another act of will to start again. The worse id if you give in and miss aday then it is 5x as hard to start again. Sorry this likely is not of any help to you besides what you are already doing....
