   depends on how you feel now. If you feel better and you want to end psychotherapy than go for it. I would still stay in touch with them however.

Hi Smilie46 - from across the Tasman Sea........ have read all of your thread, pleased to meet you and hope all will sort itself out for you. I have had ECT, and it worked well for me, despite its bad (sometimes) press. Life certainly throws us unwelcome curve balls from time to time, eh?
I think it's neat that we can come and post on SF - with months in between, if we feel like it!

Just re read my thread (yes its mine).

I needed to. Looking back on things (not just the thread) reminds me that I have been through a lot and my mood and emotions are genuine.

Im okay just having a reflective moment :)

Hello again, Im still seeing a psycotherapist twice a week. she thinks I have an avoidant personality........its enough to drive me mental. Talking with her does help though.

Im still going weekly to see the doc. I am stepping back for a breath at the moment (while still going) wondering if I am strong enough to continue.

Its really hard, especially when you have to go home to an empty space. I dont know how often Ive gone to an appointment to talk about something that was said previously and I get "thats not what I said". That may be right but thats how I took it. And thats the way Ive thought about it for the few days between appointments.

Im thinking that it may be best to live with what I am, not what I wished to be.

Clear as mud? I get me - sometrimes lol

So good to see you hear and posting. I like what you said about living with who you are instead of who you wished to be. Who you are is a pretty terrific person and you should be proud to be you. :grouphug:
