I am sure some of you have heard the story of Sisyphus at one time or another. He was punished for trying to outsmart the gods by being made to roll a huge boulder up a steep hill, but everytime, just before he would reach the top, the boulder would roll back down the hill and he would have to start over again.
The point of all this really...is that I often feel like I have been given a Sisyphean task. I am having to roll this boulder up a hill...metaphorically speaking of course...and every time I think that I am nearly at the top, it just rolls back down the hill and it's back to square one for me.
I think I am being punished this way.
