I betrayed a friend

I've just betrayed one of my closest friends, not just a friend but someone who I care deeply about. I promised I wouldn't tell anyone. But I did. It may not matter, I have a feeling I was too late. And they'll hate me for betraying them anyway.

The only thing you can tell them is that you feel horrible for letting out the secret, and promise not to tell anyone anything secret again. Prepare yourself if they don't trust you again, for a little while at least. Make sure to tell them that you let out the secret before they find out first. They'll take it alot easier.

The thing is, you feel bad about it. That means you're not a bad person.

i hope that you dont mind me asking you this but did you let it out cos you were worried about them?If thats the case im sure they would understand eventually even if it took a long time.Anyhow dont be too hard on yourself.We all make mistakes and we all learn from them.........if this even was one of those times at all!!!
