I Can't do this

I've been with my ex on and off for too many years. I finally broke up with her last year and haven't been with anyone since. Their's a girl that really likes me and I have alot in common with but I don't I want a girlfriend. I pretty much have given up on relationships and even sex, I can't see myself ever having a girlfriend again. I'm still really messed up after my last breakup and can't see myself with my ex or anyone else. It's not for me I guess

drifter i know how it feels, i'm in the middle (or at the end, perhaps) of an on and off thing...this girl has just been making me miserable and i feel so stuck...don't really feel like i deserve it...

I guess that's the takeaway point though - you deserve someone that's good for you. However, you don't need it until you're ready for it, and if things are meant to be with this girl, then they will work out. Never let your fears control you though.
