i dont no,is this normal or not?

    i odnt no if this classes as an eating disorder, i was jsut wonderin, i go thru periods when il binge eat, like loads, and then il fyl relly bad but no i dont have th self control to stick to a diet, so i just dont eat at all, but after a couple of days il eat loadsa gain, then il stop eating again, and it goes on like this? is this just a natural thing, is ti an eating disorder? i dont no, and if it is how do i go about gettin help ? any advice greatly appreciated x

    That is a typical cycle that involves restricting.

    When you restrict, you deprive your body of food, and pretty soon it will crave it beyond all belief, so then you binge. but when the urge to eat has gone, you feel bad so go back to restricting again, and then the cycle starts again.

    The best way to help yourself is to try and level out your eating. Ie eat at meal times, and have maybe three snacks a day. Try to eat a healthy balanced diet, and if you feel the need to binge, try eating fruit, something like that that won't make you feel bad.

    At the very least you have disordered eating, which a lot of people get at some point in life due to stress or whatever. If it has been going on for a while it might be worth going to the docs and getting someone to help you with your eating.
