I stay up at night and i try to manage.
    I dont manage. I fail

I work through my life and try to deal
    I dont deal. I fail

I try to be happy and not depressed
    Im depressed. I fail

I try to ignore and get over it.
I dont get over it. I fail

I work very hard and think i did well
    I dident. I fail

no matter how hard i try, or what i do. I fail.
    I always fail.

Blunt, but to the point. However I'm sure you don't fail at everything. We, well, I, have a habit of always seeing the negative side of things but if you look at your life, I'm sure you haven't failed at everything.
  3. You most certainly DIDN'T fail in expressing how many of us here feel.
So - we feel for you.
And that makes your words a success.
Personally, hit me standing sideways - I'm so there...

We shouldn't judge ourselves so harshly, but damn, I know...

i know im not a total failur but its hard to get over all the stuff i seem to screw up on. Thx for all your posts. It made my day to see that people actualy liked my schitty poem.
  5. We get a lot of "help" along the way to screw up, dear one.

We're also 'taught' to be our own worst and harsh judges (mea culpa), or completely immune from all thought/reflection, and hence, responsibility. Struggling, then, is perhaps most 'healthy' - rational, no? Even in pain --- Learning come from this place, though not always - and sometimes, too much!

we all go through this at points in our lives...

But in the end we have to be happy we got through most of the hard times we have gone through... and look back and remember that things happen for a reason...

thanks for sharing this with us..
