I feel like I'm in a dream with whatever I do. Lie, let's say I'll be in class. I'll be relevant and know what's going on, but when I look back at the day, it feels like I wasn't really there. Does this make any sense? I hate this feeling. Could this be a part of my depression?

hard one to say but could be part of depression or perhaps something else would be something to talk about to a councillor or professional though. Could be you have another diagnosis causing this feeling see what what professional thinks okay

It could be a type of dissociation: 'de-realisation' to be more accurate.

    It can be anxiety related.

I used to feel this way a lot. I think plates might be right in thinking it may be de-realisation.
Hope you can talk to your doc about this.

it's called derealization and whatever you do, don't worry about it. i will be completely honest in telling you that although it passes, there is no generally accepted treatment or cure. it is all about interpreting it as a non-threatning function of your mind and just slowly accepting it, then letting it move away on its own. could be co-morbid, probably related to stress that your depression causes...

do NOT scare yourself by reading symptoms of related disorders. i promise you will end up an anxious wreck.
