I had my first real age issue yesterday

I am in my early 40s now and apart from mental health and the odd injury I have been really lucky with how I feel. I know people younger who feel much worse.
I went to the opticians and the guy told me that I was developing an issue due to my age. It is the first time I have been told this type of thing and it really made me see that I am getting old now.

Not that things are easy for me. And I am not the best at taking care of myself. I think I am just lucky with genetics maybe. Sadly the mental health has always been an issue (Not age related) so that has made up for any luck I had.

It’s natural to get some niggles as we get older. It’s part of life unfortunately. There will no doubt be treatments, normally eye drops in this situation to keep it at bay.

Is it just a need for glasses, or is it a more serious issue? They have treatments for many things these days. Such as eye drops for dry eye and lens replacements for cataracts.
