If it's not one thing it's a bloody nother!

So, my mini mental breakdown is over and I got over myself. but my poor body is just so tired and fatigued. On my days off I slept in till 4pm after going to bed at about 11pm the night previously. I am in a lot of pain with my stomach at the moment aswell. I am just exhausted. I think my blood levels are dwindling slowly :( Just wish my body would feel well and normal for once. I have been feeling ill now for 9 or so months now. Just want to be normal :(

What kind of problems exactly are you having with your stomach and do you know what could possibly have caused it? I've been having digestive issues since like October of last year, and I don't directly know the root cause of mine, but I do know that certain medications/drugs make me constipated and contribute to my stomach pain. So, I try not to take anything that I think could possibly make my problems worse, and in the meantime, I also take Miralax daily. It's a medication that helps digestive regularity.

I'm HIV positive and I think my tummy problems have something to do with it. I have suffered with constipation all my life so it is the norm for me but for the past 6 weeks or so I have gone the other way and I have cramps so bad that make me almost pass out and sweat. My doc thinks I may have picked up some bacteria from tap water that normal people can fight off but people with HIV can struggle to fight off but it's taking a while to shake off. I am also feeling very fluey and feverish with a sore throat so I think I am in for a rough next few weeks. Oh well.

What kind of doctor do you see for your HIV check-ups? I would recommend, on top of that, to also see a gastrointestinal specialist. He/she may have some insight to your stomach pain as well.

I see a GUM doctor because HIV is apart of their speciality. It's a hard process to get referred to see speciality doctors in the UK and has a big waiting list.

Well, I do think it would be best for you to also follow up with a GI doctor, so if you have to be put on a waiting list for that too, maybe it's worth doing so. But that sucks to have to wait that long. If you get worse in any way, though, just go to the ER.

Well if I get sick I can just go straight to the GU clinic, less waiting about and I know the doctors :)
